Fani-Kayode demands arrest, prosecution of Senator Abbo for assault on lady

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has lamented the state of affairs of the country while also expressing his resentment at those who currently govern Nigeria.

The chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in a series of tweets posted on his official time-line on Tuesday said that Nigeria was currently governed by “cow lovers and pedophiles”.

Fani-Kayode who further described those governing Nigeria as religious bigots and ethnic supremacists said the country had been led by inferiors as a result of the decision of a lot of people not to participate in politics.

He wrote: “One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors – Plato

“There is no greater evidence of this truism than the Nigeria condition.

“We are being governed by cow-lovers, pedophiles, religious bigots and ethnic supremacists.”

The comment of the former minister comes days after he frowned at the comment by a northern leader and a Second Republic lawmaker, Junaid Mohammed on the South-East part of the country’s clamour for 2023 presidency.

Mohammed was said to have in one of his media interviews said that the North would rather prefer the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, to become Nigerian President in 2023 than allow a person from the South-East to occupy the position.

In his reaction, Fani-Kayode in a series of tweets said, “Who are you? Are you God? Or were you there the day the Ancient of Days lay the foundations of the earth and established the universe?

“Nothing lasts forever: not even northern tyranny, arrogance and occupation.”
