Former Governor of Kaduna State Ahmed Makarfi has declared that Nigeria needs a more committed and capable leadership.
He spoke in an interview yesterday, when the leader of Northern Christian Youth Forum (NCYF), Ogidi Lawrence, led members of the group to visit him in Kaduna.Makarfi was the former National Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
According to him, the PDP would reclaim power from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2019, to save the country from the present socio-economic and political woes in the country.He pledged that the PDP would bring Nigeria out of the misrule by the APC, adding that the party’s recent apology to Nigerians was in the right course.
Meanwhile, the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has dissociated itself from the signatories to a vote-of-no confidence in President Muhammadu Buhari.
