Naval Chief, Ekwe-Ibas says kidnapping has reduced after meeting with Buhari

The Nigerian Navy has revealed plans to establish an academy for its Warrant Officers.

The Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral, Ibok-Ete Ibas, disclosed this at the weekend while addressing journalists at the Closing ceremony of the second Nigerian Navy Warrant Officers Convention in Lagos.

The Security Chief who was represented by the Chief of Policy and Plans Rear Adm. Beegroy Ibe-Enwo, said the academy, would help strengthen the Navy.

He said, “The challenges we have now is the need for us to look at the possibility of establishing a warrant officers academy within navy because it will help to reinforce some things we have discussed here in a more formal settings of a training environment which we will look at closely.”
