Nigerian thespians dominate AMVCA 2017 nominees list
Organisers of the 2017 edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) have announced nominees for the next edition of the prestigious initiative that honours film and TV talent across Africa.
And as expected, Nigerian thespians like Ivie Okujaye, Uche Jombo, RMD and AY Makun lead the list of nominees unveiled on Wednesday thereby triggering public voting which opened after the announcement.

There will also be a battle for supremacy in the Best Movie West Africa category where five movies produced by Nigerians namely “93 Days,” “76,” “Oloibiri ,” “A Trip to Jamaica,” and “The CEO” will vie to win the category.
