Activist Deji Adeyanju has branded Nigerian youths as not only lazy but also having no future. He did so on Sunday while tendering an unreserved apology to President Muhammadu Buhari for verbally criticising him for saying Nigerian youths were lazy.

Adeyanju who is known to be a staunch critic of the President Buhari-led government took to his Twitter page on Sunday to pen the apology.

While also giving reason for his apology, Adeyanju wrote; “I want to apologize to President Buhari today for attacking him when he said Nigerian youths are lazy.

“Nigerian youths are not only lazy, they are the most hopeless youths in the world.

“They have no future and there’s no hope for them.”

Adeyanju’s comments comes days after he dared the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, to resign from office and submit himself to the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission, ICPC over allegations that the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) provided N90billion as campaign funds for him during the 2019 elections.
