Nigerians to know Buhari’s policy direction Wednesday

A former Minister of Youth and Sports, under the Goodluck Jonathan administration, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi says the APC will unveil the roadmap for the policy direction of the Muhammadu Buhari-led administration at a two-day Policy Dialogue from Wednesday.

Abdullahi who is now Deputy Head of Policy, Research and Strategy Directorate of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, made this known in Abuja on Monday.

The policy dialogue has as its theme “Implementing Change: From Vision to Reality, and is being organised by the Directorate.

According to him, the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, will declare open the dialogue, which will be chaired by the Vice President-elect, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (SAN).

A former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, is expected to be the keynote speaker at the event where input into the roadmap for the actualisation of the policies of the incoming administration would be made by experts drawn from various fields of human endeavour.

Abdullahi explained that the core areas of focus at the two-day event would include but not limited to the economy, governance, job creation and security in line with the APC manifestoes for change.
