Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases hit 81 as NCDC confirms 11 new cases

Confirmed cases of Covid-19 pandemic in Nigeria has reached 81, with the confirmation of 11 new cases by the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) late Friday night.

In a post on its verified Twitter handle-@NCDCgov, the centre said eight more cases were confirmed in Lagos, two in Enugu and one in Edo State.

“11 new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 8 in Lagos, 2 in Enugu & 1 in Edo State

“As at 11:55pm 27th March, there are 81 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 3 have been discharged with 1 death,” the tweet read.

A state by state breakdown of confirmed cases of the dread virus has Lagos with 52 cases, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja 14, Ogun three, Oyo three, Edo two, Bauchi two, Enugu two, Ekiti one, Osun one, and Rivers one.
