NLC Strike: Terminal Operators, Clearing Agents At Loggerheads Over Demurrage

Fresh face-off between terminal operators and clearing agents operating at the nation’s seaports looms over demand for four days waiver by the Association of Nigerian Licenced Customs Agents (ANCLA) as a result of recent nationwide warning strike embarked on by the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC).

LEADERSHIP recalls that the nation’s seaports were shut down by the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) in compliance with the directive of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) over face off with the federal government on new minimum wage.
