No reason to fear restructuring in the North, ‘we have resources, we’re not poor’- Masari

Katsina State Governor Aminu Bello Masari has admonished northerners to embrace the concept of restructuring, arguing that the North had nothing to fear as it was a richly endowed region.

Masari made these comments in an address at the retreat of Northern Senators Forum in Kastina on Tuesday.

He advised the senators against opposing restructuring.

“We have resources. We are not poor.

“We should not be afraid of restructuring’’, Masari, a former speaker of the House of Representatives, said.

He identified lack of quality leadership as the only real problem militating against the development of the North.
