No regret over killing of my sister –Brother of murdered social celeb

The long arm of the law has caught up with Muhammad Wasim who killed his celebrity sister, Qandeel Baloch because of her pro stance on women empowerment and the fact that she often dresses in non-traditional and revealing clothes.

Wasim who was arrested in Dera Ghazi Khan in central Pakistan late on Saturday said that he had no regrets killing his sister in their family home.

“I have no regrets,” he told journalists in a press conference arranged by the police early on Sunday.

He said he gave a “tablet” to Baloch to subdue her and then strangled her to death over the weekend.

“Wasim confessed to his crime, saying he killed his sister for honour after her recent objectionable videos, mostly posted on Facebook,” said Azhar Ikram, the police chief in Multan, where Baloch was killed.

Wasim reportedly pinned shut Baloch’s nose and mouth blocking off her airways before she died contrary to earlier reports that she had been strangled.
