Nollywood actor Leo Mezie needs more funds for treatment

According to friends, family members and colleagues of fair skinned actor Leo Mazi who is said to be battling kidney problems, more funds still need to be raised to fly the thespian out for medical treatment.

Though, there has been progress recorded in trying to raise funds for the treatment of his ailment, reports say the fundraising process is a bit slow considering the rise in exchange rate which keeps going up almost on a daily basis.

According to fellow thespian Chioma Okoye, who has been visiting him from time to time, the amount realized now is just N6 Million which is N4 Million shy of the actual amount (N10 Million) needed to fly Mezie out for treatment.

Chioma who revealed that Mezie’s visa is currently ready and he would travel out as soon as the money is complete, also thanked some of her colleagues and well-meaning Nigerians who have contributed their widow’s mite towards saving the life of the actor.
