Defiant North Korea led by headstrong leader Kim Jong Un is at it again; this time, the pariah nation is claiming to be the victim of state-sponsored terrorism — from the White House.
Pyongyang’s accusation is coming as the U.S. is considering putting the North back on its list of terror sponsors.
It is also coming days after the arrest of two American university instructors and the laying out of what it says was an elaborate, CIA-backed plot to assassinate President Kim Jong Un.
Three days after North Korea detained a Korean-American citizen, Kim Sang Dok, 58, the pariah nation detained another for acts against the state.
Kim Hak Song, who was detained on Saturday, worked for the Pyongyang University of Science and Technology, the North’s KCNA news agency said.
Song is the fourth U.S. citizen to be held by the isolated country amid diplomatic tensions which is running high and driven by harsh rhetoric from Pyongyang and Washington over the North’s pursuit of nuclear weapons in response to what it says is a threat of U.S -instigated war.
