North Korea at it again! Fires projectile from north of Pyongyang

Defiant North Korea led by headstrong leader Kim Jong Un has done the usual by firing an unidentified projectile from the north of Pyongyang according to South Korea’s defence ministry.

The Office of Joint Chiefs of Staff said South Korea and the United States were conducting close-up analysis of the launch.

“South Korea and the United States are closely analysing the launch for further information,” South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said in a statement.

“Our military is closely monitoring the North Korean military for any further provocation and maintaining readiness to respond.”

The missile test is coming a days after Pyongyang vowed to enhance its nuclear-strike ability despite sanctions from the United Nations.

That much information was revealed by Pyongyang deputy ambassador to the UN Kim In Ryong, who said North Korea would never abandon its “nuclear deterrence for self-defense and pre-emptive strike capability” even if the US ratchets up sanctions and pressure “to the utmost.”
