Notorious kidnapper 'Vampire' killed in shootout with police
The end has come for notorious kidnapper and armed robber, Henry Chibueze a.k.a Vampire, after he was shot dead by operatives under the Police IGP intelligence unit led by Abba Kyari.
According to reports, five other members of his gang namely Obinna Ela,  Arinze Abecheta, Chukwu Ebuka, Samuel Ugochukwu and Clifford Aheana were also arrested alive during the operation with catches of Arms and ammunitions recovered from them.
The gang of kidnappers who were all paraded and will be charged to court on completion of investigation are reportedly responsible for many kidnap and Armed Robbery attacks in Imo, Abia, Rivers, Delta and other States in the South-South/South-East in which several innocent people were killed.
Recall about two months ago, that Vampire while standing trial at an Imo state High Court was forcefully whisked away by his gang members who stormed the court during proceedings and starting shooting into the air sporadically wounding several people and causing a stampede as there was no security operative on ground to engage the miscreants.
No less than five victims sustained gunshot wounds during the sporadic shootout by the armed men.
However, Vampire and his gang met their Waterloo when the police team which had trailed them to a forest in Ikwerre area of Rivers State moved in on them.
