Novel! Edo PDP serves petition papers on APC, Obaseki by hanging it on secretariat fence

In what seems a novel move, the Edo state chapter of the PDP has hanged the Tribunal summons for APC on the fence of the APC secretariat in Benin, the Edo state capital.

This follows the leave granted to the PDP to serve Godwin Obaseki, the governor-elect and the APC by the Governorship Election petition tribunal by substituted means.

According to the PDP, this became necessary as APC and Mr Obaseki have been dodging and evading service.

PDP state publicity secretary, Chris Nehikhare said, “APC has since hearing that PDP filed a petition with the tribunal locked and chained its secretariat and barred even the gateman coming to work. Mr Godwin Obaseki has not been seen or heard from since PDP announced that it had filed its petition”.
