NSCDC nabs two suspected rapists in Ibadan

The operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Oyo State Command, on Tuesday, arrested two suspected rapists in Ibadan.

The suspects, Muyiwa Olatunde, 32, and Fatai Wahab, were arrested after having canal knowledge of two minors.
The NSCDC Public Relations Officer, Mr. Segun Oluwole disclosed these while parading the suspects before journalists in Ibadan.

According to him, Olatunde was arrested in Ibadan over the alleged rape of his sister while Wahab was arrested at Igbeti, Oke Ogun area of the state, over alleged rape of a 10-year-old girl.
“Olatunde had confessed to the crime and claimed to have committed the act twice with his sister,” the NSCDC spokesman said.

He said the victims are already undergoing rehabilitation while the suspects would be charged to court at the conclusion of the investigation.
