U.S President, Barack Obama made an impromptu visit to the deadliest site of the November 13 attacks that killed 130 people within an hour of landing in Paris early on Monday.
Obama laid a single white flower, bowed his head and stood in silence at the candle- laden memorial outside the Bataclan theatre. He was accompanied by French President Hollande and Parisian Mayor Anne Hidalgo.
On Monday evening, President Obama and Hollande are scheduled to meet one-on-one for dinner in Paris where the two men will discuss climate change and the strategy to combat ISIS.

The president’s visit to Paris comes just two weeks after France’s capital city was rocked by the terror attacks. His official business on the trip is to attend an international climate conference, aiming to secure a deal to limit the rise of global warming, but terrorism and the fight against ISIS will loom large over the two-day event.
