Obasanjo meets with political parties, security operatives in Abeokuta

Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo on Saturday held a closed-door meeting with security chiefs and some political parties in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital.

Present at the meeting were the state Chairman of the Action Democratic Party, Wale Egunleti; the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress, Gboyega Isiaka; a zonal director of the Allied Peoples Movement Campaign Council in Ogun West, Chief Jide Ojuko.

The meeting held at the President Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta also had in attendance the state Caretaker Secretary of All Progressives Congress, Ayo Olubori as well as security chiefs including the state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyem.

It was gathered, that the agenda of the meeting hangs around the forthcoming general elections.
