Oborodudu loses bronze match as Nigeria remains medal-less in Paris
Freestyle wrestler, Blessing Oborodudu failed to win the bronze match of the women’s 68kg wrestling event at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Oborodudu had begun her campaign well when she made it to a back-to-back Olympic semi-final after defeating France’s Koumba Larroque 6-2.
But she fell short in the semifinal against Meerim Zhumanazarova of Kyrgyzstan, leaving her to settle for a battle for the bronze medal.

Unfortunately, Oborodudu lost 3-0 to Nonaka Ozaki of Japan on Tuesday night to finish fourth in the category.
Team Nigeria’s campaign in Paris remains medal-less on Day 11 of the Games.
Ese Brume, Tobi Amusan, Samuel Ogazi are some of the athletes who are still hoping for medals.
