OGUN: APC guber candidate wins polling unit he lost during presidential election

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dapo Abiodun has polled a total vote  of 240 to win his Ward 3 Unit 2, Ita Osanyin, Iperu, Ikenne.

Abiodun who lost the unit to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the presidential election, beat his closest rival, Adekunle Akinlade, of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) who polled 71 votes.

Buruji Kashamu of the PDP got just five votes in the result was announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission Presiding Officer, Timothy Olajimi.

APC also won the unit’s House of Assembly election with 215 votes while APM had 72 votes and PDP 8 votes.
