OGUN: INEC declares APC candidate winner of Ijebu-Ode constituency

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Mr Kemi Oduwole as the winner of the Ijebu-Ode State Constituency seat in the Ogun State House of Assembly election.

According to INEC’s Returning Officer, Dr Oluseye Onabanjo, the candidate of the APC satisfied all requirements of the law during the Governorship and State House of Assembly elections.

“Oduwole Kemi Olaitan of the APC having satisfied the requirements of the law and scoring the highest votes is hereby declared the winner and returned elected,” Onabanjo said.

To emerge the winner, Oduwole amassed 10,180 votes, to defeat his closest rival from the People’s Democratic Party, Azeez Ogedengbe who polled 8,152 votes, while Tola Banjo of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) came third with 4,283 votes.
