The long arm of the law has caught up with one Okwudili Okoro for allegedly hacking his elder brother Azuibike Okoro and his wife, Jacinta to death.

Reports say the suspect was nabbed by men of the Ogun State Police Command after one Joseph Nwagu reported the matter at the Sango Police Division of the command.

According to reports, the suspect had served his elder brother as an apprentice in his cosmetic trade for three years and when it was time to settle him, his elder brother started to give excuses.

According to the state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, the suspect who sensed his elder brother may want to play a fast one on him decided to engage an accomplice in the person of a certain Kenneth who joined him in attacking his elder brother.

“The suspect told the police that they bought two cutlasses, sharpened them and headed for his deceased brother’s house in the Ijako area of the state.

“The suspect further told his interrogators that on getting to the deceased’s house, they met him eating with his wife and before he could utter a word, they had descended heavily on them with the cutlasses and hacked them to death,” the police spokesman said.

The PPRO who stated that the two corpses have been deposited for post-mortem examination at the state General Hospital, revealed that a manhunt is underway for Kenneth who is said to be at-large.
