OGUN: Police rescue 3 persons kidnapped on Eid-el-Kabir
The Ogun State Police Command has announced that three persons kidnapped at Ode-Omi community in Ogun Waterside Local Government Area of the state have been rescued.
The victims were said to have been kidnapped on Sunday while the Eid-el-Kabir Sallah celebration was ongoing, a statement by the state police spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi indicated.

According to Oyeyemi, the victims were rescued unhurt.
The suspected kidnappers had stormed the community on Sunday during the Eid-el Kabir celebrations, abducted the people and escaped in two speedboats. They were said to have later contacted the families of the victims on Sunday night, demanding N30m as ransom.
