Celebrity Gist can confirm that the divorce proceedings have been initiated by Blessing Okagbare as the couple are set to go their separate ways over allegations of infidelity, laziness and other irreconcilable differences.
The athlete had once admitted in the past that she met her husband, Igho Otegheri, a three-time capped Super Eagles and former Heartland FC of Owerri player through a friend, after which they dated for a while before they got married in 2014.

According to her, it is wise to ensure that that guy has a job that can pay for his lifestyle, stating further that single ladies should not be afraid to be alone and take good care of themselves and their children.
