Okpebholo appoints Oshiomhole’s son as health commissioner, names SSG, AG
The Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has appointed Dr. Cyril Adams Oshiomhole as the state’s Commissioner for Health.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Fred Itua, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday in Benin City.
He said the governor also appointed Barr. Musa Ikhilor as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) while Samson Osagie was appointed the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice.

“The nomination of Osagie and Oshiomhole will be confirmed by the Edo State House of Assembly when they are forwarded soon by Governor Okpebholo,” the statement read.
Cyril is the son of former Governor Adams Oshiomhole.
Okpebholo took over power from Godwin Obaseki at a ceremony held in the state capital earlier on Tuesday.
