Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh has expressed disappointment over the 1-1 draw against Tunisia at the ongoing Africa Nations Championship in Kigali, Rwanda on Friday.

Nigeria still top Group C with four points and would need a draw against Guinea on Tuesday to guarantee a place in the quater-finals.

Speaking during the post match conference, Oliseh said, “I will describe our outing as two points lost, but I think my players gave their best.

“We dominated the first half while they took over in the second half, adopting aerial balls, knowing fully well that my player are not as tall as they are.

“We played against a very tall side as compared to our team that is full of young up and coming players.

“We will continue to work hard. Of course, I know we are still in the pool and our last game will offer better performance,” he added.

Meanwhile, Tunisia coach, Hatem Missaoui, praised his players for giving Nigeria a good fight on Friday.

“Nigeria gave us a good fight. It was a tough game for us and I’m satisfied with the result,” he said after the game.

“We knew before the game that it was going to be a difficult afternoon for us and they actually proved us right.
