Watford of England striker, Odion Ighalo, has expressed delight over his return to the Super Eagles after being recalled alongside John Obi Mikel and Victor Moses for the friendly internationals against Cameroon and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The three players were left out of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Tanzania owing to different reasons by Nigeria head coach Sunday Oliseh.
The former Granada of Spain player in an exclusive interview with ripples.com.ng praised the Super Eagles coaching crew for considering him back in the team.
“I feel delighted and honoured to be considered by Coach Sunday Oliseh for the international friendly matches against Cameroon and Congo in Belgium.

“I’m ready to help the team secure victories and justify the confidence reposed on me by the coaching crew,” he told Ripples.
Five players from the Nigerian top division were given calls as goalkeepers Femi Thomas and Ikechukwu Ezenwa join the battle for the gloves with Vincent Enyeama and Carl Ikeme.
Outfield players from the Nigerian league are Chima Akas, Austin Obaroakpo, Paul Onobi and Prince Aggreh.
Nigeria’s Super Eagles will play DR Congo on October 8 while they’ll face Cameroon three days later in Belgium.
The tune-up matches are part of the pre-FIFA World Cup qualifier against the winners between Djibouti and Swaziland in November.
