Oba Adetunji explained that the purpose of his visit was to thank Alaafin for his presence at his coronation on Friday March 4, 2016, at the Mapo Hall Arcade, Ibadan.

He also disclosed that the visit was to strengthen the cord of unity that binds the two ancient cities together and to promote unity among the Yoruba traditional rulers.
