Omokri picks holes in Buhari’s move to secure N10bn refund to Kogi ahead of guber polls

Reno Omokri, the former aide to ex-president, Goodluck Jonathan has slammed the move by President Muhammadu Buhari to secure the sum of N10 billion to Kogi State ahead of the November 16 governorship election.

Miffed by Buhari’sdecision, Omokri took to his Twitter page on Tuesday to question the decision to seek the approval of the Senate to refund the said sum to Kogi State, especially as a governorship election in the state is just around the corner.

Omokri wrote on Twitter; “Why does General @MBuhari want to pay Kogi N10.9 billion weeks to election? Why is Kogi special? Is it because they have an @OfficialAPCNg Governor? Why is he not paying attention to the @OfficialPDPNig state of Bayelsa? First Tradermoni, now this? Is this democracy?
