Nollywood thespian Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde celebrated the banning of underage marriage in both Tanzania and Gambia recently which now comes with tough penalties awaiting offenders in the aforementioned countries in rulings regarded as landmark decisions.
The actress took to her Instagram page to celebrate the decision by both countries as she called on other countries to follow suit saying the move will highly enhance the chances of girls in both countries to get an education.
Recall two days ago that Yayha Jammeh, the President of Gambia announced that anyone caught marrying a girl below 18 would be jailed for up to 20 years.
