The curfew exempts essential services such as hospitals, emergency responders, and law enforcement agencies.
The governor has directed security agencies to strictly enforce the curfew, apprehend those responsible for the violence, and restore peace to the area.
“The governor has tasked security agencies in the state to enforce the curfew, ensure the safety of lives and properties, arrest the perpetrators of violence, and restore peace to the community,” Adeniyan added.
Residents have been urged to cooperate with authorities to bring an end to the clashes and maintain public safety.
