One dead, 8 trapped after hotel collapses in Germany
One person was confirmed dead and eight others were injured after a hotel in the town of Kroev, Germany, partially collapsed near the banks of a river on Tuesday.
Firefighters and paramedics were at the spot to search and rescue the survivors in the Moselle town of Kröv, about 100km west of Frankfurt.
The caused the accident which occurred on Tuesday night was still unclear.

“Several people were able to leave the building on their own and are being looked after by emergency services and counsellors,’’ police said on Wednesday.
Pictures from the scene showed parts of the multi-story building had collapsed, with concrete debris on the ground.
