Nnamdi Kanu: What next?

After spending a year and six months in Kuje Prison Abuja, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, on Friday left Kuje prison.

Kanu was arrested by Nigeria security operatives in October 2015 and has remained in prison till he was granted bail this Friday.

The Abuja Federal High Court had on Thursday granted him bail on health basis and denied the three other members of the group detained alongside Kanu bail.

His lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, disclosed that Kanu having met the bail condition, which many Nigerians described as stringent, was released shortly after all necessary documents were signed by the trial judge.

Kanu reportedly left the prison at about 5pm.

Kanu, along with three others yet to be granted bail are being prosecuted on alleged offences bordering on treasonable charges.

Those who stand as sureties for him like senator Alaribe and others will regret it because they will later replace him in the prison, am sure Kalu will run away into a thin air.

Lmao… you such a big fool! Kanu is not a coward like you, he’s a man that knows why and understands What he’s fighting for. What will Nigeria do to him that will make him run away? Do you think your federal government can handle him?

The fact is that, he won’t ever come back to the prison again. They will look for big disease and say he needs to treat it in the UK undergoing chemotherapy and others and with that, the case will be silent.

Now that there is still room for repentance, my only advise for Kanu is to repent and make amendments, there can’t be anything like Biafra. Just forget it bro

Kanu is an hero already no matter how we see it, he’s sacrificing himself to fight for tons of the Igbos and what he believe to be right. God will give you quick recovery.
