Ooni of Ife reveals new bride 1-yr after marriage crash

It is a year already since the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi took to his social media platforms to announce the unveiling of his new wife, Olori Shilekunola.

According to reports, the one year-wedding anniversary of the royal family was celebrated modestly, as the Olori took to the social media to honour the day and celebrate her husband with words full of love and adoration.

Inside sources revealed also that the Ooni spared nothing to serenade his wife when their marriage clocked one year with close watchers now expecting their union to be crowned with the arrival their first child.

So, we heard rumours that Lizzy Evoeme, popularly known as Ovularia, in the now rested 80’s sitcom aired on the Nigerian Television Network, ‘New Masquerade’ had passed away to the great beyond.

Lizzy who played the role of Ovuloria, the submissive wife of Chief Zebrudaya (played by Chika Okpala) in the sitcom according to unverified reports, passed on with no details given as regards the cause of her death.

However, the actress has refuted her death rumour currently being peddled on social media.

The veteran actress who was obviously upset at the rumour during a TV interview at her Port Harcourt home, described the speculation as malicious, saying she is alive and full of life.

Reports say Ashimolowo who is also the chancellor urged graduates to dare, dream and develop themselves with feelers revealing that the university was set up to address certain issues including poor health care delivery in Osun State which has a very high infant mortality rate and low doctor-patient ratio.

The musician and grandfather Charly Boy, has labelled his mother Mrs. Margaret Ntianu Oputa, nee Onumonu, a ‘good witch’ after she recently passed away on October 8, aged 100.

While stating his reason for referring to his mother as such, Charly Boy premised his conclusion about his late mum on the argument that only a “good witch” could have carried his pregnancy to term and nurtured him to adulthood.

The Nigerian movie industry dubbed Nollywood is reportedly set to witness the release of its first science fiction movie titled ‘Ratnik’ by Dimeji Ajibola.

We gather that the movie which is a shift from the common movie genres in Nollywood will feature stars like; Adunni Ade, Osas Ighodaro, Bolanle Ninalowo, Karibi Fubara, Zikky Alloy, Meg Otanwa, Tope Tedela and Paul Utomi among others.

Celebrity Gist can also confirm that the movie which will revolve around superheroes and mutants was set for screening in November 2019, but due to a request by its sponsors has been rescheduled for next year.
