Former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Elder Godsday Peter Orubebe, has lambasted the Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, saying he is an Aso Rock Villa sycophant who is willing to switch allegiance to whoever is in power.
The former Minister, who was reacting to the recent criticism of President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration by Oshiomhole, condemned the governor for speaking against the former president, who he (Orubebe) described as a great leader.
“Oshiomhole is an ingrate and a popular villa sycophant who is quick to switch allegiance to whomever is in power,” he said in Abuja while addressing a select group of journalists.

He advised the incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari to watch out for the likes of the Edo state governor, who according to him, will choke Buhari with acclamations in a bid to have inroad and access to dip their hands into the nation’s cake.
Orubebe, also lamented that Oshiomhole seems to have forgotten in a hurry that he was once a major beneficiary of Jonathan’s administration saying that the governor once “cried around the former president for assistance and recognition”.
