Court halts APC's plan to hold indirect primary in Kogi

Following the receipt of certificate of return by Zamfara state governor-elect, Mohammed Mattawale, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole, has condemned the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

Oshiomhole, while fielding questions from journalists in Abuja on Monday afternoon after the APC National Working Committee meeting, said the court has succeeded in imposing “strangers” on the people of Zamrafa.

He added that the judgment delivered by the court did not give justice to the people but was rather based on a technicality.

The ruling national chairman, however, said APC will bounce back in the state to reclaim its glory from the people that have stolen it.

Recall that Supreme Court had declared void all APC candidates that participated in the past general elections.

The development made INEC declared the major opposition party’s candidates winners of all elections conducted in the state and also issued them certificates of return.
