Oshiomhole goofs, gets embarrassed at President Buhari’s inauguration

The national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, may still be ruing how he got himself embarrassed during the presidential inauguration at the Eagles Square, Abuja on Wednesday.

At the event, Oshiomhole had goofed by breaching protocol, and as a result was asked to realign for positioning himself wrongly.

The embattled APC chairman had wrongly stood in between the acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Ibrahim Muhammad Tanko and the Chief of staff while guests waited for Buhari.

It took a military officer’s intervention to redirect him before Oshiomhole relocated and the space taken by Chief of Defence Staff, Abayomi Olonishakin.

Oshiomhole had recently come under fire from the deputy national chairman of the ruling party who described him as unfit to lead the party and called for his resignation.
