Oshiomhole maps out tactics to ‘deal’ with PDP

NASS: We are surprised like every other Nigerian —APC

National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has vowed to humble opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 general elections using labour tactics.

Oshiomhole, who defended his style since becoming the national chairman of the ruling party, which has been variously likened to that of an attack dog, said he’d rather be an attack dog than a mushroom eater.

According to the former Edo State governor, who spoke to reporters at Benin Airport on his way to Sapele, he chose being an attack dog because of the commitment of the APC to Nigerians, adding that the party will continue to be pro-attack either the opposition likes it or not.

“I asked you to understand that what is at stake is beyond the APC and the PDP. Nigeria is much more than the sum total of all the political parties.

“We will see who is who in February next year. In Edo, they made this argument that politics is different from labour but we used labour tactics to humble them and they became converted. Exactly the same tactics we used it in Edo, will be used either in Kwara, Benue or Sokoto or anywhere.

“This is not about me, it is not about them, it is about the Nigeria people. I will not adopt the ruling class tactics to deal with a cankerworm of disease. I offer use different style in order to get different outcome.”
