Oshoala scores hat-trick

Reigning African women footballer of the year Asisat Oshoala netted in three goals for her club Darlian Aerbin in their 4-0 victory over Shandong JFSS on Friday.

The win took Darlian Aerbin to the top of the eight-team Chinese Women’s Super League on 10 points, having won three games and drawn only one.

The Super Falcons’ forward celebrated the win as she took to Twitter after the game and wrote, alongside a picture of herself holding up three fingers:

“4-0 win , Massive 3pts , topped with an incredible hattrick (3goals) from me today. I am grateful #Dalian.”

The 22-year old left Arsenal Ladies earlier this year and have helped her new club to remain unbeaten after four rounds of games in the Women’s Super League.

Oshoala was recently crowned Queen of the Pitch in the Nigeria Pitch Awards which held on June 10 in Uyo.
