Osimhen, Awoniyi, Ajayi lead battle against Brazil

Ahead of the international friendly match against Brazil U-23 team, the coaching crew of Nigeria U-23 Eagles has named FIFA U-17 World Cup all-time top scorer Victor Osimhen, Germany-based Taiwo Awoniyi and Tunisia-based Junior Ajayi to lead the battle against the South American giant.

Coach Siaisia on Friday unveiled a 20-man list which included nine home-based players and 11 foreign based players
for the friendly match billed for Thursday next week at the Kleber Andrade Stadium in Vitoria, Brazil.

The team is expected to depart for Brazil via South Africa from the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos on Sunday, aboard a South African Airways flight. On arrival in Sao Paulo, the Nigerian delegation will be flown to
Vitoria where they would be lodged at the Hotel Ilha Do Boi-Senac.
