Osimhen promises to win Europa for unbeaten Galatasaray
Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has made a promise to help Galatasaray win the UEFA Europa League title.
The Turkish Super Lig champions are unbeaten so far this season in the second-tier continental competition.
On Thursday, they clinched a 1-1 draw against Dutch club AZ Alkmaar, placing them in fourth on the table of 36 after five matches.
Osimhen was on target for Okan Buruk’s side in the game with a fantastic header, and was denied a winner by VAR.

The striker has now scored three goals in his last two appearances in the competition, and has expressed desire to help the Yellow and Reds triumph.
“I said I would score a goal, I did. I make another promise; ‘I will bring the UEFA cup to Turkey,” he said after game.
He also reflected on the draw with AZ Alkmaar; “It feels good to score a goal. We left with one point. We will continue. We may be a little tired mentally, we had a match four days ago, we may be tired mentally. Our team’s performance was good. we remain unbeaten in Europe.”
