Osimhen unfazed by Galatasaray’s first-leg defeat in Europa playoff
Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has expressed hopes ahead of the second leg of Galatasaray’s Europa League playoff tie against AZ Alkmaar.
The Galatasaray forward was not in action when the Turkish Super Lig champions lost 4-1 to the Dutch giants in the Netherlands.
But the Nigerian strongly believes his side will scale through to the Round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League.

The Yellow and Reds will host the Eredivisie club in the second leg at the RAMS Park next week Thursday, and Osimhen is optimistic of an incredible comeback.
“The return match in Istanbul will be very different. With the support of our fans, we will show them the true power of Galatasaray,” he told Fotomac.
“I will score my goals. Leave AZ Alkmaar to me. We will be the side that advances. I am sure of that. Everyone should keep their morale high.
“First we will beat Rize (in the Super Lig) and then we will eliminate AZ Alkmaar.”
