Osinbajo approves appointment of Bayelsan, Matthew Seiyefa as Acting DG DSS
The appointment of Matthew Seiyefa as the Acting Director General of the Department of State Service, DSS, has been approved by Acting President Yemi Osinbajo.
Seiyefa, the most senior director of the DSS, was appointed in acting capacity on Tuesday after the sacking of Lawal Daura for his role in the invasion of the National Assembly by operatives of the DSS.

Until his appointment, Seiyefa was an Assistant Director General. He was also the Director, Institute of Security Studies, Abuja.
The new acting DG has also served as state director of the DSS in Lagos, Osun and Akwa Ibom states.
A member of the National Institute, Seiyefa, who hails from Bayelya State, has 34 years of experience.
