A Christian must ‘live by example’— Osinbajo

Professor Yemi Osinbajo has described as fake news, reports that he had resigned as Vice President of Nigeria.

Rumours making the round had claimed that Osinbajo has resigned his position as vice to President Muhammadu Buhari.

But in a post on his Twitter handle, Osinbajo debunked the rumours.

He wrote, “Misleading/FAKE news is on the rise especially in this season when Nigerians will make a choice about who will govern them for the next four years. I have not resigned!

“I remain committed to the service of the Nigerian people under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari.”

Osinbajo said the rumours which apparently came following his absence at the last security meeting in Abuja, was a mere propaganda.

He explained that he was too occupied in his office while the meeting was underway, but that he later had a meeting with the same security chiefs that met with the President on the same day.
