For the second consecutive week, Vice President on Wednesday presided over the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Osinbajo presided over the last week’s meeting while President Muhammadu Buhari was in Russia, attending the Russia-Africa Summit in Sochi.
Wednesday’s meeting started at about 11:00 a.m. with the rendition of the national anthem followed by an opening Muslims prayer by the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu and a Christian version offered by the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi.
Those at the meeting were the ministers, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Folasade Yemi-Esan and the Permanent Secretary in the State House, Jalil Arabi.

President Buhari is currently in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he is attending the Future Investment Initiative (FII) Summit.
