The Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, is back to Nigeria after jetting out on Tuesday night to meet ailing President, Muhammadu Buhari, in London.

The Senior Special Assistant, Media And Publicity to Osinbajo, Laolu Akande who made this known on his twitter handle said “AgP Osinbajo now back in Abuja from London & will be presiding over FEC this morning starting @ 11am at the Council Chambers in Aso Rock”.

He also stated that the presidency would soon make available more information on the meeting between both men.

“We will soon share more information about AgP Osinbajo’s London meeting with President Buhari. It was a very good meeting. God bless Nigeria”, he tweeted.

It is also expected that the acting president would first brief the Executive Council on the condition of President Buhari, which would in turn make details known to Nigerians after their meeting.

Nigerians are also looking forward to seeing pictures from the meeting to have a glimpse of the president who has been out of the country since May 7, and has not been seen or heard from directly since then.

There have been concerns over the present state of health of President Buhari whose nature of ailment has been kept a closely guarded secret.

There was further apprehension over the president’s health when the governor of Ekiti State, and chairman of the PDP governors forum, Mr Ayodele Fayose asserted that Buhari had been on life support since June 6, and that it was being hidden from Nigerians.

A recent visit by his wife, Aisha to see him offered a glimmer of hope of his recovery and return to the country when she asserted, that God has answered the prayers of the “weaker animals” and that “the hyenas” and “the jackals” would soon be evicted from “the kingdom”.
