ELUMELU: PDP house caucus warn party of consequences
The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State, Soji Adagunodo, has hailed the tribunal ruling that declared the party’s candidate in the state’s governorship election, Sen Ademola Adeleke, as winner.
The party said, it would be ready to face the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Appeal Court.
The APC had revealed its decision to challenge the verdict at the Appeal Court.
A three-man member of the tribunal had on Friday declared Adeleke the winner of the September 2018 gubernatorial election in the state
Adagunodo, after the ruling on Friday, said, ‘’the judgment shows that we still have men of impeccable character in the judiciary.’’
“Kudos to the Nigerian judiciary and this shows that we still have men of impeccable character in the judiciary.
“Truly, the judiciary is the last hope of common man,’’ Adagunodo said.
