#Osundecides: PDP’s Adeleke leads as INEC announces results

The governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Ademola Adeleke is so far in the lead from the result announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

While 48 political parties had battled for the governorship election, four were major contenders. They are the All Progressives Congress (APC), Action Democratic Party (ADP), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Social Democratic Party (SDP).

From the results announced, the PDP has garnered 254,345 votes, while it’s closest rival the APC has 254,698 votes.

INEC is at the next stage of announcing the official final result.
