The ‘Our Mumu Don Do’ coalition has acknowledged the resignation of fiery activist Deji Adeyanju, two days after he told the world that he was severing ties with the group.

The statement issued by the movement reads thus in part, “The management of the Omudodu Youths Foundation officially acknowledges the resignation notice by Mr. Deji Adejanju circulated on social media on Wednesday March 13, 2019.

“On the loss of confidence in the Chairman and Convener of Our Mumu Don Do Movement, Mr Charles Oputa (Charly Boy), cited by Mr. Adeyanju as his reason for exiting the Organization, we will be willing to review evidence to back these allegations and seek redress if substantiated.”

Adeyanju who recently regained freedom after spending 78-days in detention resigned his membership from Our Mumu Don do Movement in a post on his Twitter page when he wrote thus; “Dear Nigerians, I have resigned my membership of Our Mumu Don.
