Over 1200 inmates test positive for Covid-19 in US Prison

At least 1,275 inmates at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice have reportedly tested positive for Covid-19 on Monday with 461 of them being staff and employees.

The facility also recorded over 30 Covid-19 related deaths and are moving to place 20,063 other offenders on medical restrictions since they most probably have had contacts with positive colleagues or staffs.

Close confinements have continued to sponsor the spread of the virus across prisons not only in the United States but around the world.
